Privacy Policy
YNF ("we") handles personal data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other applicable law. This policy applies to ynf.io (the "Site"). The Korean text governs; this is a courtesy translation.
1. What we collect and how
The Site has no sign-up and no forms. Personal data reaches us only in these cases:
- E-mail enquiries: your e-mail address, your name and affiliation if you include them, and the content of your message
- Automatically: IP address, browser and device information, time of visit, pages viewed, and usage records via cookies or similar technologies (when an analytics tool is enabled)
2. Why we use it
- Answering enquiries and following up
- Understanding how the Site is used and improving it
- Keeping the Site secure and preventing abuse
3. How long we keep it
- E-mail enquiries: up to one year after the enquiry is resolved (longer where a contract follows and the law requires)
- Automatically collected data: up to two years from collection, or the analytics tool's retention setting, whichever is shorter
- Longer where a legal retention duty applies
4. Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties, except where the law requires it or a lawful request is made by a public authority.
5. Processors and international transfer
We rely on the following processors, whose servers may be located outside Korea (in the United States):
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and access logs
- Mixpanel, Inc. — usage analytics (once enabled)
- Google LLC — connection data when web fonts are served
6. Cookies and analytics
The Site may use cookies or browser storage to understand usage. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, and turning on your browser's Do Not Track setting stops the analytics tool from recording your usage. Refusing cookies does not limit your access to the Site.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or a halt to the processing of your personal data at any time by e-mailing the officer below. We act on requests without undue delay.
8. Deletion
When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we delete personal data without delay: electronic files irrecoverably, paper by shredding or incineration.
9. Security
- Minimal, managed access

- Access logs kept and reviewed
- Processors' security standards checked
10. Children
The Site does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14.
